Water filter cartridges
Discover our range of water filter cartridges designed to adapt your filtration system to the quality of your water and your specific requirements. They can be used for both mains water and systems supplied with rainwater, spring water, borehole water or well water.
Effective filtration depends on choosing the right cartridge and installing it in the correct position. Sediment, activated carbon and specialist treatment cartridges can be combined in single, double or triple filter housings to create several filtration stages.
Which water filter cartridge should you choose?
Sediment and particle filter cartridges
Mechanical filtration cartridges are generally used as the first filtration stage. They help retain suspended matter such as sand, rust, sludge and other particles present in the water.
Activated carbon cartridges
Activated carbon filter cartridges complement mechanical filtration and can act on certain substances present in the water. Depending on their composition, they can also help improve the taste and odour of the water.
Specialist treatment cartridges
Depending on the quality of the water and the required treatment, specialist filter cartridges can be added to address a particular issue or complement an existing filtration system.
Filtration adapted to your water source
Filter cartridges can be installed in single, double or triple filter housings to combine several filtration stages. The appropriate solution depends on the water source, water quality, required flow rate and intended use.
For water coming from a spring, borehole, well or rainwater harvesting system, a water analysis can help determine the most suitable treatment and avoid unnecessary or inappropriate filtration stages.
Filtration and UV sterilisation are complementary
Mechanical filtration and treatment cartridges can also be complemented, when required, by UV water sterilisation. UV treatment performs a different function by acting on micro-organisms present in the water.
