This pack combines the SYR POU 7315 water filter unit – a 4-in-1 filter system – with a T-joint and a three-way tap, allowing both tap water and filtered water to be supplied via a single mixer tap. A practical, compact solution that looks more stylish than a small additional tap.

This pack is designed as a complete solution. The aim is to avoid any uncertainty about which items to order separately and to provide you with a comprehensive kit that is ready to install under the sink.
A 4-in-1 filter system
The SYR POU max combines four filters in a single unit: two mesh filters to remove impurities, an activated carbon filter and an antibacterial filter. This compact design combines particle filtration, taste and odour improvement, and additional point-of-use protection in a single unit.
In practical terms, this filter helps to trap impurities such as sand, rust and fibres, improves the taste and smell of the water, and reduces various unwanted residues. Activated carbon is particularly effective against chlorine, certain odours, pesticides, organic residues, as well as certain heavy metals and certain PFAS, depending on water quality and actual conditions of use.
The filtration rating is specified here as 0.15 microns, which allows for very fine filtration whilst remaining a compact and practical solution for everyday use.
Long-life cartridge with backflushing
The cartridge offers a long service life of up to 7,500 litres. Depending on usage and water quality, its service life can be up to 3 years. Even if this capacity is not reached, it is recommended that you replace the cartridge after 3 years to maintain optimal filtration performance.
The system also features a manual backwash, which helps to minimise clogging and extend the filter’s service life using only a small amount of rinse water.
Why choose the version with a three-way tap?
The main advantage of this version is its 3-way mixer tap. Unlike the standard kit, which includes a small additional tap, this version replaces the existing tap with a single tap that dispenses both tap water and purified water.
The result is a cleaner look, greater convenience in everyday use and often a simpler experience in a modern kitchen. You don’t need to install a second small tap on the worktop or near the sink.
Under-sink installation
The water purifier connects to the cold water supply using the T-piece supplied in the pack. The unit is designed to be installed under the sink, just before the tap. The aim of this system is to treat the water directly at the point of use, where it is actually drunk and used for cooking.
The installation is straightforward for anyone handy with DIY, requires no soldering, and features a simple, compact design. You simply need to ensure there is enough space under the sink, particularly if you also want to be able to backflush the system easily.
