Complete filtration pack for rainwater, borehole, well or spring water combining a self-cleaning pre-filter with a triple 10-inch water filter. A flexible solution designed to protect the installation, remove fine particles and improve overall water quality.
A practical solution for domestic filtration of rainwater, borehole, well or spring water. If microbiological treatment is required, a UV sterilizer can be added after the filtration stages.
This pack combines a self-cleaning pre-filter and a triple 10-inch water filter to treat water through several complementary stages: pre-filtration of larger impurities, fine particle filtration and activated carbon treatment.
The third filter housing is intentionally left available so that the system can be adapted later to the actual characteristics of your water, without replacing the complete installation.

The self-cleaning filter captures larger impurities before the finer cartridges.
Two complementary filtration stages are supplied for a versatile starting configuration.
Add only the additional treatment your water actually requires.
Water from a borehole, well, spring or rainwater harvesting system can have very different characteristics depending on the ground, depth of the source, season or storage conditions.
It may contain sand, silt, rust, suspended solids, unpleasant odours or other compounds requiring suitable filtration.
Combining a self-cleaning pre-filter with a triple filter distributes the filtration work between several stages and helps limit premature clogging of the finer cartridges.
The principle is to remove larger impurities first and then progressively refine the filtration. This helps protect the cartridges and keeps the installation easy to upgrade.
Installed at the beginning of the system, the self-cleaning filter acts as the first barrier against particles contained in the water.
Its progressive filtration at 90 then 40 microns helps retain larger particles, sand, rust and deposits before they reach the triple filter.

The BACKWASH cleaning system allows accumulated impurities to be flushed away without routinely replacing the filtering element.
The filter also includes a pressure reducer and pressure gauge and accepts 3/4" and 1" connections.
After pre-filtration, the water passes through a system with 3 standard 10-inch housings. Two cartridges are supplied to provide a versatile starting configuration while keeping the third housing available.

This first cartridge captures fine particles that have passed through the pre-filter, including dust, silt and other suspended matter.
Activated carbon helps improve the taste and odour of the water and contributes to reducing certain unwanted compounds.
The third housing remains available for an additional cartridge if required by the characteristics of your water.
Not all borehole, well or spring water has the same characteristics. Automatically adding a third cartridge could mean applying a treatment that is unnecessary.
Depending on the results of a water analysis or the characteristics identified, the third housing can accept an additional cartridge, such as a specific iron-treatment cartridge, extra activated carbon or another medium compatible with standard 10-inch housings.
The pack is intentionally supplied with one cartridge of each type to keep the initial cost under control. Replacement cartridges and additional treatments can then be ordered according to actual consumption and the needs of the installation.
Water from a private source can vary considerably from one location to another. A water analysis helps determine its composition and identify which treatments are actually required.
The free third housing allows the system to be adapted after analysis without replacing the triple filter already installed.
This pack provides mechanical and activated carbon filtration, but it does not provide microbiological treatment.
If an analysis identifies a microbiological risk, or if the intended use requires microbiological treatment, a UV sterilizer should be installed after the filtration stages.
Biopur Habitat also offers complete filtration packs with a 25 W or 55 W UV sterilizer depending on the required flow rate.
Water supply → self-cleaning filter → triple filter → water distribution system
If a UV sterilizer is added, it should be installed after all filtration stages.
The self-cleaning filter is maintained using its backwash system. The replacement frequency of the cartridges in the triple filter depends on water quality, water consumption and the level of cartridge clogging.
The upstream self-cleaning pre-filter helps protect the fine cartridges and can reduce premature clogging.
The pre-filter captures larger impurities before they reach the fine cartridges. This helps protect the triple filter and reduce premature clogging.
A triple filter keeps a third housing available. The system can therefore be upgraded later if a water analysis identifies the need for an additional treatment, without replacing the existing installation.
It is intentionally left free so that an unnecessary treatment is not imposed. A cartridge suited to the actual characteristics of your water can be added later if needed.
Yes. The pack is particularly suitable for domestic pre-filtration and filtration of borehole, well, spring or rainwater. A water analysis is recommended to determine whether additional treatment is required.
No. Mechanical filtration and activated carbon alone cannot guarantee that untreated water is safe to drink. Water quality should be checked by analysis and additional treatment may be required.
Yes. A UV sterilizer can be installed as the final treatment stage after the triple filter if microbiological treatment is required.
The triple filter uses standard 10-inch cartridges, making replacement easier and allowing the filtration configuration to be adapted as requirements change.
With its self-cleaning filter and triple 10-inch filter, this pack provides a complete foundation for domestic filtration of rainwater, borehole, well or spring water. The two supplied cartridges provide the first filtration stages, while the third housing allows the treatment to be adapted later to the actual needs of your water.
