Our cartridge has been designed to allow water to remain in contact with the media for as long as possible.
Water passes through the cartridge axially upwards and remains in contact with the filter bed for longer.
In combination with the catalytic properties of the media, it deprives the water that has passed through the cartridge of virtually all iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide.
This has the effect of reducing the problem of rust stains on fittings, metallic water taste and unpleasant rotten egg smell.
These cartridges are compatible with all standard 10" inch filter holders (not suitable for 9 3/4").

Easy to use
It seems to me that the cartridge saturates very quickly when the water has a high iron content. One remains. The water retains a faint but noticeable rust odor.
Answer:
To optimize results, you need a 5-micron sediment cartridge, followed by the anti-iron cartridge and then a carbon block cartridge.

I chose this filter for my pool because there were slightly brown stains on the walls and bottom. I hope this filter will retain the iron particles when I fill it next spring. I placed it after the sediment and carbon filters.
