How does it work?
Contaminated water flows through the cartridge towards its core. The sediments it contains are retained by micropores whose diameter decreases towards the inside. Larger particles are captured at the surface, while smaller particles are captured in deeper layers.
This increases the effective surface area, filtration efficiency and life of the cartridge.
Because of its porous structure, carbon is an excellent filtering material. Chemicals in the water flowing through the activated carbon layer are captured (adsorbed) in the pores and the result is clean, toxin-free water.

Half of the cartridge is extruded polypropylene foam, while the other half is activated carbon.
The combination of a sediment filter and a carbon filter is extremely effective.
