Is this model suitable for 2 bathrooms?

Why add a filter if the anti-limescale device already works?

Installation tips
- The anti-limescale device will be installed in the main pipe.
It does not matter whether it is before or after the water meter. - The device can be installed in any direction.
- In one of the two parts of the system, the nuts are already integrated.
- The additional nuts are to be screwed on the screw head side.
They are used to tighten the two parts of the anti-limescale system together without the threaded rod protruding and interfering with the installation. - The larger the diameter of the pipe, the larger the space between the two parts of the system.
This gap does not hinder the effectiveness of the system, as it allows the magnets to be as close to the pipe as possible. - In order for the field to act properly on the water flow, they must attract each other.
Good practices for optimal operation
This system should not be installed on pipes that magnetise.
There is therefore no contraindication for plastic pipes, copper, aluminium, etc...
A simple check can be carried out with a standard fridge magnet:
- if the magnet is not attracted to the pipe, installation is possible.
If not, simply insert a section of non-ferrous pipe of your choice and of the right length so that the magnetic field can act.
This dismantling can also be a good opportunity to install a filtration system.
The magnetic fields of the Mi Power do not affect nearby electrical appliances. Only small electronic devices such as watches, calculators or magnetic bank cards could be affected in their operation if placed directly on the magnet.
For optimum effectiveness, please install the Mi Power as close as possible to your home or to the items to be treated.
A distance of more than 40 metres will greatly reduce the effectiveness.
Installation of an anti-limescale with a filter
Magnetic scale removers are not curative. They will not destroy the deposits that have formed in the water pipes that supply your installation before your water meter.
So sludge, sand and other impurities could continue to accumulate in your boilers, water heaters and other taps...
Sometimes filings or iron particles can be found in the water. Filtration will have the advantage of retaining them and preventing them from gradually accumulating in the magnets. The anti-scale operation and the good flow of the water would then be disturbed.
You will have understood that a water filter is strongly recommended to optimise long-term operation.

The general water supply pipe is often oversized, that's why the system can be installed on pipes up to 25mm but the maximum water flow that can be treated should not exceed 20l/min which corresponds to a pipe with an inner diameter of 18mm.

For a higher water flow rate or a more calcareous water, by installing several devices the efficiency will be improved.
The two magnetized parts must also be placed in opposition of pole (i.e. attract each other)
