Key criteria for a large house
Available water flow With several bathrooms and water outlets, multiple uses may occur at the same time. The system must therefore be suitable for a higher water flow.
Pipe diameter The diameter of the main water pipe is a key factor when choosing equipment that is compatible with the installation and correctly sized.
Anti-limescale technology Magnetic, electrostatic or another treatment principle: the right choice depends on your installation and the level of treatment required.
More than 2 bathrooms: flow rate becomes a priority
For a large house, the number of bathrooms is only an initial guide. Sizing should also take into account the number of occupants, connected equipment, simultaneous water use and the diameter of the incoming water pipe. The aim is to maintain a comfortable flow rate throughout the home.
Key point
Choosing an anti-limescale system based only on the size of the house may not be sufficient. For higher-flow installations, check the pipe diameter and the maximum flow capacity of each model before making your choice.
