    Reduced price!

Complete high-flow filtration pack with 55 W UV-C sterilizer for rainwater, borehole water, well water or spring water. This version is designed for installations requiring higher treatment capacity, several water outlets or greater simultaneous water demand.

    • Self-cleaning pre-filter to capture larger impurities and protect the installation
    • Triple 10-inch filter for progressive and customizable filtration
    • 1 x 5-micron sediment cartridge + 1 x activated carbon block cartridge included
    • 3rd housing left free for an additional treatment cartridge if required
    • 55 W AMALGAM UV-C sterilizer
    • UV treatment flow up to 2.18 m³/h – 43.64 L/min for drinking-water treatment
    • Up to 2.72 m³/h – 54.55 L/min – 12 GPM for the treatment level indicated as clean water
    • UV connection: 1" – 26/34

The preferred version for homes or installations requiring greater treatment capacity. Actual system flow also depends on the filters, cartridges, pipework, pump and other equipment installed upstream.

Filtering rainwater, spring, borehole or well water

Water from a private source can vary considerably in quality and may contain sand, silt, suspended matter, iron, manganese, limescale, odours or microbiological contamination. Treatment should therefore be selected according to the water source, its analysis and its intended use.

Before choosing a system: know your water

Two boreholes or two wells can have very different water quality. Water that looks perfectly clear may also contain substances that cannot be seen. For domestic use, particularly for more sensitive applications, a water analysis helps determine which treatments are actually required.

1. Protect the installation

Pre-filtration first removes the larger impurities to protect the pump, filter cartridges and equipment installed downstream.

2. Refine the filtration

Filter cartridges then retain finer particles and can add activated carbon or a specific treatment, depending on the characteristics of the water.

3. Add microbiological treatment

When microbiological treatment is required, the UV sterilizer is installed at the end of the treatment line, after sufficient filtration has produced suitably clear water.

In what order should the water be treated?

The general principle is to remove the largest impurities first and then refine the treatment progressively. This helps prevent cartridges from clogging too quickly and protects downstream equipment.

General recommended order Pump / pressure system → pre-filtration → sediment filtration → activated carbon → specific treatment if required → anti-limescale treatment if necessary → UV if required → household water system.

Filtration only or filtration with UV?

Filtration
Pre-filter + cartridge filtration

This configuration removes particles, progressively refines filtration and allows the final stage to be adapted to the characteristics of the water. On its own, it is not a microbiological treatment.

Filtration + UV
Add microbiological treatment

When the analysis or intended use requires microbiological treatment, UV can complement the filtration system. It should be installed after the filtration stages, on sufficiently clear water.

25 W or 55 W UV: the choice depends on the required flow rate

The UV sterilizer must be sized according to the installation flow rate and simultaneous water demand in the home. A property with several bathrooms or higher simultaneous demand requires greater treatment capacity than a smaller installation.

Iron, limescale and other parameters: specific treatment may be required

Water with a high iron or manganese content may require a specific treatment before the fine filtration stages. Standard filtration alone may not be sufficient to address these parameters.

Likewise, when water is very hard, an anti-limescale treatment can be installed before the UV sterilizer to help limit scaling of the quartz sleeve and maintain the performance of the installation.

The required treatment also depends on how the water will be used

Irrigation and outdoor use

The main objective is generally to protect the pump and equipment from particles and deposits.

Toilets and domestic uses

Suitable filtration improves the cleanliness of the water system and helps protect equipment supplied with water from a private source.

Sanitary or food-related uses

The more sensitive the intended use, the more important water analysis and correct treatment sizing become.

Important

Water from a private source should not be considered safe to drink simply because it is clear or because it has been filtered. For food-related or sanitary uses, water analysis, the treatment actually installed and the applicable regulations must all be taken into account.
